US Green Building Council (USGBC) Practice Test

Minimum Program Requirements establish the baseline scope for LEED projects. They are a universal standard that applies to every LEED project, no matter which rating system is chosen or how large the project is. MPRs define the minimum boundaries a project must meet to be eligible for certification, such as the project being a building (or a space within a building) and having a defined project site for LEED consideration, and they ensure consistency across rating systems. Because they are mandatory and apply to all projects, the idea that MPRs apply only to large projects isn’t accurate. They aren’t optional guidelines, nor do they vary by rating system.
